About the Company Our client, a national non-profit organization, is dedicated to transforming cancer treatment in Australia. About the Opportunity As the Strategy Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing strategic initiatives to further our client's mission of improving cancer treatment and research in Australia. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive impactful projects.
Duties
Develop and refine the business model for strategic initiatives, emphasizing benefits for patients, government, clinicians, and industry.
Facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including government, industry, academic, clinical, and patient groups, to gather feedback and input.
Prepare comprehensive business cases for presentation to government, the clinical oncology community, and industry partners - highlighting strategic alignment, financial viability, and social impact.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of key documents to key stakeholders, such as Federal and State Governments, Clinical Oncology Communities, and Industry, to garner strategic alignment and support for initiatives.
Provide ongoing support for the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives, including project management, stakeholder management, communication, and reporting with key partners in the health system.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in science, business, health, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in strategy development, consulting, or government affairs, in the pharmaceutical, health, or clinical research sector.
Experience in health economics and/or policy development.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for innovation and social impact, with a desire to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.
